'Hackney Marsh Partnership is delighted to be working in partnership with People's Kitchen, Kingsmead Residents Association, Sanctuary Housing and Mutual Aid to prepare and deliver hot meals for the elderly and most vulnerable in Kingsmead.
Food donated by the Felix project is prepared and delivered by local volunteers.
This project would not have been possible without the commitment of local volunteers and organisations who have come together extremely quickly to get started. Our first batch of food was prepared and delivered on the weekend of the 18th April.
Our thanks to everyone who have made this possible and to the Martin Lewis Corona Fund for funding to get this important service up and running.

Community groups in Hackney have pleaded for efforts to tackle food poverty through deliveries to continue post-lockdown.
The Hackney Food Network, a collaboration between the Town Hall and voluntary groups, has provided over 300,000 food parcels and cooked meals since April 2020, with over 1,500 residents volunteering.....
