Our objectives explain what we will do to meet our aims. Stepping UP Youth Project works with young people to:

Nurture a combination of personal and pastoral support, exciting activities and a secure, caring and respectful environment.
Provide a safe place for young people to hang out, and caring staff to listen and support them. In this context children and young people are able to explore their personalities, imagination, potential and creativity.
Succeed in attracting and motivating marginalized young people.
Ensure young people's voices are at the heart of all the projects.

Flourishing Success

We work with all the children and young people to create an action plan that identifies skills they want to develop and the aspirations and dreams they want to achieve.
These action plans are used to help them work towards their goals.

Making a Difference

We work with all the children and young people to create an action plan that identifies skills they want to develop and the aspirations and dreams they want to achieve.
Young people are involved in deciding how the centre is run and in choosing, planning, delivering and evaluating all the projects.

Growing Experience

Stepping UP Youth Project has a strong commitment to young people's ideas, opinions, values and rights and also in broadening their experiences.
