The Central Information Point provides space for independent, professional career guidance. This is available so that people can discuss work related issues in a confidential space. We are not the employment service!

2. We're not just about education training and employment

People who use the Central Information Point will be able to make choices about education training an employment opportunities. They will also benefit from access to the information and resources available. This includes IT and computers.

3. It opens doors to a range of services, projects and resources

We provide a wide variety of local information, services and resources. The Central Information Point is also the first reference point for a range of community projects and services, including East Hackney Legal and Advice Work, South Hackney Credit Union, counselling, youth work, resouces for children and parents/carers, local classes and the community projects at the Kabin.

4. Using the service is free and easy

The Central Information Point is very easy to acces. Just turn up at no 8 Kingsmead Way weekday mornings from 10am till 1pm or call us 020 8525 69 67. We can work with you to enable you to access local good quality training provision. This can help develop new skills and raise confidence.

5. We're at the kingsmead kabin

Our work has grown out of the kabin - a community project. We've been around in one shape or another since 1995 and are committed to sustaining a community based resource providing information. We aim to be open and accessible.
