Concorde Centre

Concorde Centre for Young People has been established since 1964. In 2001 the Concorde Centre for young People Management Committee transferred some of the management of youth work to Hackney Marsh Partnership. In 2002 Concorde Centre re-opened following a 2-year hiatus.

Concorde Centre for Young People is now the base for an extensive programme of youth work delivered by Stepping UP Youth Project.

Barnabas Centre

Barnabas Centre was a dilapidated Church hall complex on Homerton High street, not attached to any community, outside an SRB area.

With a part time worker, the committee and the Church concentrated on attracting users groups and partners to redevelop the building. No activities managed by HMP take place in the centre. Barnabas Centre is the base for Core Arts and Core Design, and a range of community groups. The HMP co-ordinates bookings for the Barnabas Centre.
